Quickation is an immersive performance experience event built in the centre of London. The project challenges the culture of delayed gratification and the way vacation fantasies are constantly sold to exhausted city workers through everyday advertising. Instead of waiting months for escape, Quickation offers an immediate 20-minute vacation inside the chaos of daily life.
Performers act as NPCs on set, performing as a character on the beach with surreal and unregular movements throughout. Every 15 minutes, join in a 5-minute group ”Sun Bathing moment”, performers are paused as a frozen human , While Serving-man are rsearving drinks and sand cakes with a robotic close up service to add more “reality juice” continusly _ aiming imitate how much those boundary breaking moment in public space to adding up on the immersive experience.
